Katie Price meets a UCLan protege
Jessica Nightingale was star struck when she met celebrity Katie Price at a London photo call.
“Honestly I really couldn’t believe my luck. It was so exciting.
“It was fantastic when I first saw her. I did feel star struck and had to pinch myself. I couldn’t actually believe I was there to interview her,” said the third year newspaper journalism student.
Jessica, on placement with the Press Association, was covering a story on the 33-year-old’s first signing to her Black Sheep Management modelling agency.
Her 19-year-old protégé, Amy Willerton, who won the talent show Signed by Katie Price, looked virtually identical to the headline loving celeb.
“Jessica has had a fantastic time at the Press Association and covered a range of stories including the Leveson inquiry. Our thanks to organisations like PA who offer our students such great opportunities,” said journalism tutor Delwyn Swingewood.
Later the duo found time to pose with Jessica who wore a more modest outfit.
